Hajj flights from Sialkot on October 20

National flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will begin first ever direct Hajj flights from Sialkot International Airport to Saudi Arabia from October 20, 2009. According to detail, Ministry of Religious Affairs had established a Hajj Camp for the local pilgrims under the supervision of Directorate of Hajj Islamabad.
PIA will operate as many as 10 direct Hajj flights from Sialkot airport during October 2009 to cater the needs of more than 5000 male and female pilgrims belonging to Sialkot region. As many as 5000 male and female pilgrims belonging to Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts had desired to go to Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj from Sialkot International Airport.
