The Thai stock market lost 0.14 percent Thursday due to profit-taking and investor concerns over planned anti-government protests at the weekend, analyst said. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index shed 1.02 points to close at 709.23 while the blue chip SET-50 index was off 0.41 points at 507.98. Losers overwhelmed gainers 208 to 143 and 126 stocks were unchanged with turnover of 5.7 billion shares worth 28.4 billion baht (842.7 million dollars).
