President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Hamid Javed called on Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and presented a cheque of Rs 1 million for the relief and rehabilitation of Swat affectees here on Friday.
Chief Minister while appreciating the passion of service of people for the affectees in their hour of distress said that people and government of Punjab had set an unprecedented example by taking an active part in the relief activities for their affected brethren. He said that government not only took solid measures for the relief and rehabilitation of the affectees but people belonging to all walks of life donated generously and donations of Rs 710 millions had so far been received.
