A meeting of District Development Committee, Hyderabad regarding implementation of MPAs' priority development schemes was held here with u DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri in the chair. The meeting discussed different development schemes proposed by MPAs in detail and approved 12 different schemes costing Rs 19.473 million.
Out of the schemes, 11 were proposed by MPA Pir Amjad Hussain Shah Jilani that includes nine schemes of Public Health Engineering Department and two schemes of Village Electrification with total estimate cost of Rs 9.473 million while the other scheme was proposed by MPA Nuzhat Pathan for provision of medical equipment at Jigal Maan Charitable General Hospital Qasimabad, with a cost of Rs 10 million.
Meanwhile, the DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri presided over another meeting regarding implementation on Sindh Education Reforms Programme (SERP). Addressing the meeting he said that a project has been prepared to provide lacking facilities at 150 schools in the district with estimated cost of Rs 80 million by the end of this financial year.
