Chairman Senate Farooq H. Naek arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday on the invitation of the Khadim-ul-Harmain Sharifain King Abdullah to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the King Abdul Aziz University of Science and Technology (KAAUST). The Chairman Senate was received by the Minister of Higher Education of Saudi Arabia, Dr Khalid Kari at Jeddah Airport.
The Chairman Senate accompanied by Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia performed Umra. A number of delegates from various countries have also arrived to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the University. According to the Senate Secretariat, the Chairman will also meet delegates of various countries during his visit.
