Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Thursday would proceed with a suo motu notice taken against ear-cutting of a lady civil judge by dacoits. Chief Justice had directed District Police Officer (DPO) Sheikhupura and SHO concerned to appear on Thursday.
According to details, six dacoits barged into the house of civil judge Tamsal Zeb in Rasool Nagar Colony, Sheikhupura, and made her and her husband hostage. The dacoits cut ears of the judge with a sharp-edge weapon when she refused to give them her gold ear-rings. Dacoits also tortured her husband Syed Naeem Shah advocate and escaped after looting 20 tola gold ornaments and cash. The civil judge was taken a DHQ Hospital Sheikhupura where her condition was stated to be stable, however, the doctors said that she would require a plastic surgery for her ears.
