The Karachi Port handled 212,326 tonnes of cargo including 179,656 tonnes import and 32,670 tonnes export cargo including 2,484 empty and loaded containers during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 106,681 tonnes dry cargo including 72,014 tonnes containerised and general cargo; 10,795 tonnes fertiliser; 8,640 tonnes coal; 9,721 tonnes rock phosphate; 4,847 tonnes cement and 105,645 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Ten ships namely APL Brisbane, Thomas Mann, Hammurabi, APL Balboa, Bunga Raya Tiga, MSC Aurelie, IVS Kwaito, Hong Kong Pioneer, Iron Butterfly and Ingolstadt sailed out to sea during the report period. Sixteen vessels viz Attar, APL Brisbane, Hammurabi, APL Balboa, Bunga Raya Tiga, MSC Aurelie, IVS Kwaito, Iron Butterfly, High Spirit, Hong Kong Pioneer, MT Swat, Ingolstadt, Providence, Seaways Venture, APL Guanzhou and Argent Daisy are currently at the berths. Six ships namely Kota Lambai, Argent Daisy, Aann, APL Guanzhou, Providence and Clipper Triumph expected to sail on Friday.
Six vessels viz Hyundai Baron, Sima Sahba, TS Korea, Limestone-II, Drake and Beluga Nomination due to arrive on Thursday, while another four ships namely Bow Sea, Lucky-7, PAC Aries and YM America are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
total cargo volume of 61,946 tonnes comprising 46,965 tonnes import and 14,981 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,156 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 23,475 tonnes furnace oil; 6,795 tonnes palm oil; 2,465 tonnes cement and 29,211 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely CV Maersk Montana, CV ACX Pearl and MT Genie sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another two ships namely MT Woojin Emerald and CV CMA CGM Azure are expected to sail on Thursday. A total of eleven vessels viz MSC Eagle, Estere, Nostos, Sea Lion, Iron Monger-5, Marika, Yeneg Cheng, Al-Soor-II, Wales-II, Super Star-II and Aqua Carle scheduled to load/offload containers, palm oil, furnace oil, diesel oil, rice and cement are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven ships namely CV ACX Pearl, CV CMA CGM Azure, MV Leopard-B, MV Opal-II, MV Sea Belle, MT Woojin Emerald and MT Genie are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, palm oil and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours. Four ships namely CV MSC Magali, MT Al-Soor-II, MT Estere and MT TDR-2 carrying containers, diesel oil, palm oil and chemicals are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, FOTCO Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and EVTL respectively on Thursday.
Two vessels viz CV New Delhi Express and CV Doha with containers and crude oil due to arrive on Thursday, while another two vessels viz CV Saudi Hofuf and CV Maersk Novazzano are due to arrive on Friday. Seven ships namely MSC Magali, CSAV Moema, QIA Al-Fuja, Kitano, MSC Eagle, Ocean of Luck and Great Bright carrying containers, yellow peas, coke and chemicals are also expected to arrive.
