International Hockey Federation (FIH) has selected Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) as one of the prizewinners of the World Hockey Youth Challenge 2009. The other four selected countries are Malawi, Belgium, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. A spokesman of PHF said on Thursday that the jury comprising members of the FIH DCC and FIH DCC working group youth selected these countries after reading the activities and involvement of the Olympians.
It may be mentioned that the PHF had submitted the material regarding information of PHF Hockey Academies and junior level domestic structure for "Magic Tricks" World Hockey Youth Challenge 2009.
