Another case of Swine Flu was confirmed in the federal capital on Friday. Talking to Business Recorder, spokesman of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), Dr Waseem Khawaja said that Imran Khan 28 is an engineer by profession and a residence of Bahria Town who arrived from Oman here on September 20.
When he reached home he felt some symptoms of Swine Flu and went to National Institute of Health (NIH) for his medical tests. He was confirmed as a swine flu affectee and admitted in Pims. Speaking on the health condition of the first swine flu affectee who was admitted on Wednesday last also came from abroad, Dr Waseem said that he was recovering.
This shows the irresponsible behaviour of the Government as there is no checkpoints for Swine Flue affectees coming from abroad at the International Airports. The tall claims of government of installing scanners at the entry pointes of various airports to detect the people affected from Swine Flu turned false after these two cases. Considering the present situation, one wonders how the government will cope with the pilgrims returning back to Pakistan.
