Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Mazharul Haq Siddiqui Sunday visited the IBA and inspected arrangements for the pre-entry test for MBA evening program to academic session 2009-2010 on Sunday. The University of Sindh conducted the test for admissions to MBA evening program at testing Centre at the Institute of Business Administration Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro.
While addressing the candidates, the VC appreciated the students' interest for higher education. He expressed hope that qualifying candidates would work hard for completing their MBA degree and would serve the society. He further said the varsity has been providing all required facilities to enable youth in getting education in professional degree programs.
The Dean Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration Dr Anwar Ali Shah, speaking on the occasion, highlighted arrangements and salient futures of MBA evening degree program. He said that starting of MBA evening program is an opportunity to professional candidates working in different organisations get education and serve their institutes and organisation in a better way.
The VC was accompanied by Registrar Muhammad Saleh Rajar, Director Institute of Information and Communication Technology Dr Imdad Ali Ismaili, Director Sindh University Testing Centre Dr Riaz Memon, In charge Director IBA Professor Nazir Ahmed Gopang and other senior faculty members.
For the MBA evening program, a total of 410 candidates submitted their admission forms while 377 candidates appeared in the test and 23 candidates were absent. Five examination blocks with seat numbers were set up separately for male and female candidates. The test results were announced through varsity web site by SU Testing Centre within one hour in presence of the VC and other faculty members. The results have also been displayed at the notice boards of the IBA. The interviews of the test qualifying candidates from seat number 1 to 200 were conducted on Sunday while interviews of remaining candidates will be conducted on Monday.
The candidates can also check their result at the SU official web site at www.usindh.edu.pk. The final list of the qualified candidates for admissions will be notified on September 30 and candidates will be allowed to deposit their admission fees from October 1 to October 12 while regular classes will commence from October 12.
