Senior Vice President PML-N, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, has severely criticised the US aid and said that Pakistan's sovereignty, freedom and nuclear programme are threatened. US wants to make us slave that's why the aid is subjected to conditions. Hashmi said that US want to seize control of our nuclear programme and to bind our nuclear scientists.
He was talking to party office-bearers during the Eid Milan Party here on Sunday. Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said that no change in the system can be seen and Musharraf's system is still continued within the country. It seems that Zardari has taken the place of Musharraf to run the government according to the wishes of US. He said that nation strongly rejects the policies of US and would not hesitate to give any sacrifice for the country. The need is to stop those hands that want to surrender Pakistan before India.
Makhdoom Javed Hashmi criticised the political parties of the country and said the need is that political parties should get themselves ready to run the system of the country. PML-N has started the process to organise the party and other parties should also take their system among the public and to face criticism. Hashmi declared the reign of Musharraf a Dark Period for the country and said that he should be put under trial.
He stressed on the need for the de-centralisation and said that when the authorities would distribute then no body would dare to attack on democracy. "I would try to convince the leadership of N-League to include the formation of Saraiki province in their manifesto and other small provinces to strengthen the federation", he added. He said that it is not right to say the country would shatter with the division of province. The reality is that there is no province in the world having the population of 100 million.
Hashmi said that there is sense of deprivation found in all the other three provinces except Punjab. District President PMl-N, Allah Nawaz Durrani, Tariq Rashid, Bilal Butt, Athar Mumtaz Niazi and Malik Anwar also addressed on this occasion.
