Asian physical rubber prices were mostly higher on Wednesday due to supply tightness as a result of rain in Thailand, the world's top producer. A Thailand-based trader said it has been raining heavily in many parts of the country for about half of September, causing supplies to fall.
China, the world's largest consumer, begins an eight-day National Day holiday on Thursday. But the trader said he believes European market participants will be looking for supplies.
