New tariff of KESC: 'why doesn't the government close down industries at once?'
Industries are already suffering and now with this increase in tariff, industries have reached the point of shutdown. Why doesn't the government say it once, to all industries, to close down instead of putting them on slow poison. These views were expressed by Acting Chairman, SITE Association of Industry (SAI) Ahsan Arshad Ayub, while strongly condemning the new tariff of KESC, applicable from October 1, 2009.
Ayub said the new tariff rates, allowed by NEPRA, have come at a time when all economic indicators of the country are in the negative.-PR
