DCO Saeed Wahlah has directed the concerned officers of various district government departments to take prompt action on general public complaints for redressing their grievances without delay. He issued these instructions while listening to the complaints and during the open court held here on Friday outside of his office.
During the open court the people filed applications pertaining to the problems relating to Revenue, Education, TMAs, WASA, Health and other departments. The DCO, on these moments, directed that the follow up action should also be communicated to the DCO Office Complaint Cell so the departmental progress, regarding the problems, could be evaluated.
He reiterated that the government was committed to maintain good governance for proper and smooth service delivery by the departments, for relief to the masses. The policies of the government should be followed in letter and spirit, no laxity in this regard would be tolerated, he warned. EDO Literacy Asif Tarar, DOC Mubashir Shah, SAO Liaqat Ali Chatha and other officers were also present on the occasion.
