100 lower grade employees of ZTBL promoted

Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) has promoted 100 lower grade employees, including senior assistants, lab technician and typists. These employees had been awaiting their departmental promotions for the last 14 years. All the promotions would be effective from September 19, 2009 and ZTBL has issued a notification in this regard.
On the directive of ZTBL President Chaudhry Muhammad Zaka Ashraf, the bank management has promoted 82 senior assistants as officer grade III, one laboratory technician has been promoted as officer grade III and 10 typists have been promoted as senior assistants, according to the notification. ZTBL President Chaudhry Muhammad Zaka Ashraf said lower grade employees had been waiting for their departmental promotions for the past 14 years but their demands had not been fulfilled in the past.
"The credit for the promotions of lower staff goes to President Asif Ali Zardari who took personal interest in resolving the employees' problems as well as Zarai Taraqiati Bank's progress," Chaudhry Zaka added.
