Five persons were killed and seven others sustained injuries in a head-on-collision between a wagon and a truck near Rajana-Pir Mahal road by-pass on Sunday. According to hospital sources, a wagon (RP-5388) was going to Pir Mahal from Rajana when it collided with a truck (PR-3498) coming from opposite side.
As a result five persons including wagon driver Muhammad Ashraf died on the spot while seven others received injuries and were rushed to Pir Mahal hospital. The seriously injured including Muhammad Sadiq, Nasim Akhtar, Muhammad Sharif, Muhammad Hussain, Sultan Ali and Mumtaz Ahmad were Shifted to DHQ hospital here due to their precarious condition.
