US wheat futures closed higher on Monday following corn and on a short-covering bounce after the sharp decline on Friday. CBOT December wheat up 1-1/2 cents per bushel at $4.42-3/4 a bushel. USDA reported 18.033 million bushels of wheat inspected for export last week, below estimates for 19 million to 21 million. Jordan tenders to buy 100,000 tonnes wheat and Bangladesh tenders for 60,000 tonnes wheat.
