Kansas City Board of Trade hard red winter wheat futures closed higher on Monday on spillover support from a rally in CBOT corn and on short-covering after the fall of wheat futures on Friday. KCBT December wheat was up 2-1/4 cents per bushel at $4.61-3/4.
Jordan tenders to buy 100,000 tonnes wheat and Bangladesh tenders for 60,000 tonnes wheat. Egypt says detained wheat shipment can be sieved.
