Steps taken to ensure fair rates of restaurants, hotels

Department of tourist services, Ministry of Tourism, Islamabad, has taken steps to ensure fair rates of hotels and restaurants throughout the country. The owners of hotels and restaurants all over the country are therefore directed to contact their nearest regional office of the department of tourist services and get approval of the current rates and tariff to be displayed in their premises at prominent place.
Otherwise necessary legal action shall be taken under the hotels and restaurants Act 1976 and 1977 against those who failed to comply the instructions.-PR
