Member Board of Directors, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Noor Muhammad Khan has said that seed and pesticide mafias have played havoc with the agriculture in the country. Talking to journalist here at Multan Press Club he said scientists of the country lacked required facilities.
Noor Muhammad Khan said seed and pesticide companies are limited in numbers in all over the world, however, there have been mushroom growth of the companies in the country. He said there is no need of import of seeds through multinational companies, saying our scientists can make virus-free cotton varieties if they are provided with sufficient facilities.
