A meeting of the Reconciliation Committee of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F), held at Sindh CM House here Sunday. The meeting discussed the ongoing development projects at Sukkur and other administrative affairs, said a statement issued here.
The body was constituted in pursuance with the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari, aimed at promoting reconciliatory politics, so that both the political entities can play their role jointly to serve the masses. Home Minister Sindh, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, Minister Abdul
Salam Taheem and Sarfraz Rajar represented the PPP while Imtiaz Sheikh, Haji Khuda Bakhsh Rajar, Haji Pir Bakhsh Junejo, Mahi Khan Wasan and Khuda Bakhsh Dars attended the meeting from PML-F. The meeting of the Reconciliation Committee of District Khairpur will also be held at the CM House.
