Three injured commandos of the Anti-Terrorist Task Force of Special Services Group (SSG) have succumbed to their injuries in CMH, Rawalpindi, which took the toll of the martyred commandos to six. According to details, three SSG commandos sustained injuries during operation against the terrorists, who attacked the GHQ on Sunday morning.
They were trying to rescue the hostages, held by the terrorists in the office at the security check post of the GHQ. Three hostages and three commandos were martyred in the operation while four terrorists were killed. The injured SSG commandos, who rescued 39 hostages after killing four terrorists, were rushed to CMH, Rawalpindi, for medical treatment. But they could not survive.
