The Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Wednesday adjourned to October 21 the hearing of a bail application moved by company Zarco Chief Executive Lakht-e-Hussnain for October 21 after FIA's counsel sought time. The accused through his counsel has pleaded that special court (Banking offences) had granted him bail on the condition of depositing Rs 400 million cash.
He again submitted an application to the court that he was unable to arrange such a huge amount of money and he might be allowed to submit surety bonds in the form of property documents. But the special court dismissed his application and cancelled his bail. He requested the LHC to release him on bail. FIA's counsel Azam Nazir Tara sought time to prepare the case and court adjourned hearing for October 21.
