A PAF fighter squadron comprising fighter aircraft along with its compliment of Airmen reached few days ago at an operational Air Base in Egypt to participate in exercise "Bright Star 2009". It is a multinational biennial joint exercise designed to improve security and defence capabilities.
Besides PAF and Egyptian Air Force, the air forces of US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, and Kuwait are also participating in the exercise. PAF's participation in the exercise will not only help in improving relations with friendly countries but would also enhance PAF's operational preparedness.-PR
