NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani has strongly condemned the suicide bomb blast near Police Investigation Cell here on Friday and described it a highly cowardly act of terrorism. He expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives. In a press statement, the Governor said the terrorist attacks have exposed the real face of the enemies of Pakistan who were out to create anarchy in the society to fulfil their nefarious designs.
The elements involved in the cowardly act, he added, are already in the run and their cowardice acts depict their frustration. The Governor has highly appreciated the courageous role of the security agencies in tackling the critical situation and appealed the people to maintain complete unity in their rank and file and fully cooperate with the law enforcement agencies in bringing the elements involved to court of law. The Governor has also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls of innocent people. He has also prayed for grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience and early recovery of the injured.
