Senator John Kerry one of the architects of Kerry-Lugar Bill will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day visit on Sunday (today) for holding meetings with the concerned authorities on projects to be funded under the bill.
Senator Kerry will discuss matters pertaining to the Kerry Lugar bill with the top leadership of the country to identify priority areas for which the aid will be earmarked and projects launched in areas devastated by the war on terror, sources in foreign ministry revealed. The sources also said that Senator John Kerry will be accompanied by senior US officials who will analyse the proposed schemes to be funded with the US aid coming to Pakistan under Kerry-Lugar bill.
