Just 3 days before Eid I activated the SMS bundle for my network to take advantage of sending Eid greetings to all my friends and family. But I was really disappointed that on Chand Raat, I got continuous SMS delivery failure and the SMS that were delivered were all charged. What happened to my SMS bundle? My confusion got cleared out when I read in the newspaper that the SMS bundle was blocked by few companies on Eid.
It is ridiculous and unethical for companies to simply block their service without prior notice to their customers. I think the PTA should fine these companies for their carefree, irresponsible attitude towards their customers. If they are providing a service, they should at least do justice to the customers who are paying them.
