Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) has postponed the polling, scheduled for November 15. The new office bearers would be elected through postal balloting, it was announced in a meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Justice Akhtar Hassan (Retd), here on Saturday.
Election commission members, Professor Dr Tariq Zaman, Professor Dr Muhammad Yousaf and three candidates for the position of president including Dr Mahmood Shah, Dr Ayaz Khan and Dr Asif Niaz Arain also attended the meeting. Professor Tariq Zaman said postal ballot would be sent to 8,000 members of PDA by October 24. The election commission would announce the results on November 15.
