The Karachi Port handled 131,589 tonnes of cargo including 95,545 tonnes import and 36,044 tonnes export cargo including 2,785 empty and loaded containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 97,189 tonnes dry cargo including 57,829 tonnes containerised and general cargo; 4,686 tonnes DAP; 16,321 tonnes coal; 8,700 tonnes rock phosphate; 9,651 tonnes cement and 34,400 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely MT Swat, Uni Promote, Dandelion, MOL Bravery, Alliance Norfolk, Al-Marwah and Providana sailed out to sea during the report period. Nine vessels viz Queen Arrow-1, Beluga Federation, Iron Monger-5, Al-Marwah, Alliance Norfolk, W-O Noroc, MSC Jade, APL Dalian and Pulau Cebu are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Queen Arrow-1, Beluga Federation, Pulau Cebu, Trustful, MSC Jade and W-O Noroc expected to sail on Tuesday, while another three vessels viz Iron Monger-5, Hyang Ro Bong and Ocean Island are expected to sail on Wednesday. Five vessels viz Ltc Calvin P. Titus, Samin-1, Andinet, APL Dalian, Alliance Norfolk and Pulau Cebu due to arrive on Tuesday, while another five ships namely Sun Flower, Bunga Raya Enam, Hyundai General, Wan Hai-510 and Great Kali are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 99,934 tonnes comprising 68,148 tonnes import and 31,786 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,491 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 43,415 tonnes furnace oil; 8,968 tonnes palm oil; 4,200 tonnes chemicals; 11,146 tonnes cement and 32,205 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely CV MSC Canberra, MT Ionon Trader, MV Sem Jong and CV Maersk Virginia sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another two ships namely MT Catterick and MT Genie are expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of nine vessels viz Nedlloyed Oceania, SC Guoji, Semue Per Dana, High Mercury, Al-Soor-II, July-M, Hong Son Sky and Alexi-I scheduled to load/offload containers, chemicals, palm oil, diesel oil, seeds and cement are currently at the outer anchorage.
Eight ships namely CV Maersk Virginia, MV Costanza, MV Alaska-II, MV Hiba Al-Noor-B, MT MT Catterick, MV Meta, MT Spirit and MT Genie are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, chemicals, palm oil and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours. Three ships namely CV Nedlloyed Oceania, MT High Mercury and MT SC Guoji carrying containers, diesel oil and chemicals are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, FOTCO Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Four vessels viz MT Andinet, MV Royal Diamond, MV Safe Voyager and MV Federica Prima are due to arrive on Tuesday, while four more ships namely ACX Marguerite, CMA CGM Turquoise, MT Stolt Megamui and Annemieke are due to arrive on Wednesday. Three container ships namely Mark Twain, Hanjin Portland and CMA CGM Eiffel are also expected to arrive.
