Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK-FTZ) is one of the fastest growing and most cost-effective free trade zones of the region and is rapidly becoming the preferred business hub in the Middle East. These views were expressed by the speakers at a road show seminar on 'How to set up your business in UAE' jointly organised by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan and RAK-FTZ Authority here on Wednesday.
They said that RAK-FTZ will provide the best platform to grow business in the UAE and across the globe. The investors would be facilitated in providing an excellent infrastructure, a tax free environment, customised solutions, hassle-free procedures, value added services and other facilities from this world class free zone, they added.
The visiting delegation of RAK-FTZ including Luca Gorlero, Director Marketing & Business Generation of RAK FTZ; Niloofar Azadeh, Business Development Officer; Senior Sales Executive Imran Hussain and Senior Sales Executive Ahmed Yousef Hasan A. Alzaabi briefed the Pakistani businessmen about the procedure of setting up their businesses in this free trade zone. They also briefed them about the incentives being offered by the free trade zone.
They said that a strong economy, together with a very stable political environment makes UAE a very attractive and safe place for investment of all kinds. The cost of living and doing business in Ras Al Khaimah are markedly lower than in other Emirates, allowing for greater profit margins for investors.
RAK-FTZ, founded in the year 2000, has enjoyed tremendous success. It has been 'best emerging free zone' three years in a row by Middle East Logistic Award and is considered as one of the fastest growing free trade zones in the region, with more than 6,000 companies from 106 countries. The RAK-FTZ offers 100 percent foreign ownership, 100 percent income and corporate tax exemption, 100 percent capital and profit repatriation, simple and fast registration procedures, long-term renewable lease, state-of-the-art communication facilities, excellent sea port and international airport facilities and land for lease for industrial projects. They offered Pakistani businessmen to invest in this fast growing free trade zone in the region.
