Moong, masoor sharply lower on grain market

Sluggish business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed markets on Tuesday as most of the items maintained the overnight levels in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side moong Punjab was lower by Rs 125 to Rs 4375 masoor Canada followed same pattern, losing Rs 500 to Rs 6500 and masoor dal also lost the same amount at Rs 8000-8500, they said.
On the grams side gram 50x50 was higher by Rs 3300-3500, other items maintained the previous level, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag better type gained Rs 20 to Rs 1020 while the low type was unmoved at Rs 1000, they said.
