Users can unsend sent messages on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is yet to roll out a new feature that can let users to delete their already sent messages.
Called ‘Delete For Everyone’, though the feature permits the user to delete sent messages, there is still one condition. The user can only delete the messages that have not been read by the receiver. After deleting the message the receiver will get a notification ‘The Message was deleted’ in place of the original text. The new feature is currently being tested for both iOS and Android versions.
The feature would prove to be great help for users who accidently text someone, giving an opportunity to unsend it before the user reads it. Though the company has not yet revealed the exact release date for the feature but, it is expected that the launch of this feature is not far away, writes Tech Juice.
A famous Twitter account for WhatsApp beta leaks WABetaInfo tweeted the news informing people about the feature. According to them, Facebook-owned WhatsApp are currently testing the feature and that it will be “available soon”.
