Malaysian shares closed up 0.12 percent Friday in line with gains on Wall Street and regional markets, dealers said. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gained 1.48 points to 1,243.23. Gainers outnumbered losers 450 to 211. "The market's bounce today after a two-day losing streak was largely due to the gains on Wall Street and firmer regional markets," a dealer told Dow Jones Newswires. Among major stocks, financial firm AMMB rose 1.70 percent to 4.73 ringgit.
