Six players of a local football team were killed while ten others sustained serious injuries in a road mishap near Surab, late Sunday. According to the local police and hospital sources, the football team which represented the entire district Kalat and was playing under the District Football Association (DFA) was returning to Kalat when their bus rammed into a trailer.
As a result, six players whose identity could not be ascertained immediately died on the spot while ten others sustained serious injuries and were admitted to the Surab hospital. Condition of the three players was stated to be serious. Local police rushed to the area for investigation.
