Dispossessing land owner illegally: SHC summons AG Sindh, SHO for November 13
The Advocate General Sindh and SHO of Ibrahim Haidery PS have been summoned for November 13 by a division bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC) comprising of Acting Chief Justice SHC, Mushir Alam and Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi on Tuesday in a petition filed against alleged attempts of illegally dispossessing owner of a poultry farm.
The petitioner, Syed M Quaid had moved the court through his counsel Mushaffey Ahmed advocate, plead that he had acquired four acres of land from a lawful owner but Habib Siddiqui, a land broker in collusion with SHO, Ibrahim Haidery PS, Mukhtiarkar Bin Qasim Town is attempting to dispossess him from the said land. He maintained that the respondents have a history of blackmailing innocent people, forcing them to run away from lands due to false disputes. The bench after hearing the counsel ordered issuance of pre-admission notices to the AG Sindh and other respondents for November 13.
