CDA allocates job quota to women, minorities

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would allocate 10 percent employment quota for women and 5 percent quota for minorities in pursuance with the announcement made by the government. The CDA spokesman Mustafain Kazmi informed APP that the CDA board has given approval to allocate 10 percent quota for women and 5 percent for minorities, following the decision of the government.
Kazmi said that the decision would be implemented on new recruitment in the department. Hailing the decision, he said that women from all over the country would get opportunity of getting employed, on merit basis. The spokesman observed that the move would provide better opportunities to the women ensuring their role in the progress of the country. Concluding, he said that women, comprising a major population of the country, have great potential to work in diversified fields of life and must be given equal opportunity to work for the development of the country.
