Rising trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as exporters' demand for rice increased, dealers said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type maintained its overnight level at Rs 1060, while the better type moved up after gaining Rs 10 to Rs 1080.
Til low type was sharply higher by Rs 350 to Rs 3200 and low type was up by Rs 100 to Rs 3700, they said. On the rice sector Irri-9 Sindh good type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 3200, the inferior type did not move any side at Rs 2500. Irri-6 Sindh good type maintained the overnight level at Rs 2450 while the low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 2400, they added.
