LDA asks allottees to provide annual audit reports

Director General of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has asked allottees of schools and hospitals in LDA housing scheme to provide annual audit report duly verified by chartered accountants, to check whether they are being run on non-profit basis or not.
A spokesman said here on Friday, this was the part of measures approved by the LDA director general with the aim of streamlining the affairs of educational and health sites in LDA housing schemes. A committee comprised of a number of LDA officers has been constituted to visit the school and hospitals once in a year to check whether they are being run according to the terms and conditions of allotment.
