Police arrest four accused, recover ammunition, 124 bottles of liquor

Police on Sunday arrested four accused allegedly involved in illegal activities and recovered 700 rounds of 30-bore pistol and 222-bore rifle from their possession.
SHO Allah Bukhsh, SI Nusrat Ali and ASI Khalid Javed of Tarnol Police Station during patrol in Jhangi Syedan apprehended two accused Jamal Shah and Shakeel Ahmed and recovered 650 rounds of 30-bore pistol and 50 rounds of 222-bore rifle from their custody, said a Police statement issued here.
Meanwhile, ASI Dariya Khan of Bhara Kahu Police Station arrested accused Tariq Mehmood and recovered 90 bottles of liquor from his possession.
Similarly, Industrial Area Police captured accused Mumtaz Masih and recovered 34 bottles of liquor from his possession. Police have registered cases against the accused, while further investigation is underway. SSP, Tahir Alam Khan appreciating the performance of police announced cash prizes and certificates for the personnel showing good results.
