At least 54,900 Internally Displaced families of South Waziristan Agency have been registered in Dera Ismail Khan and Tank. According to a private news channel, the food and other relief goods are being distributed among the displaced families. The patients are being treated free of cost at hospital established at Dera Sports Stadium.
An NGO FIDA has registered 54,900 families so far arriving in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan. And the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) is verifying these families and the verification process of at least 24,000 displaced families have been completed.
These verified families have been issued Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Cards as well, through which they are getting Rs 5,000 per month. The affectees are being provided with medical care and all necessary stuff at DI Khan's three relief centres. Over 4500 patients have been treated thus far at hospital at Dera Sports Stadium.
