Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Zeb Jaffar has said that the rulers have no concern with national interests and the intention of presidency with regard to 17th amendment is also not clear as yet. In a statement issued here on Saturday, she said that under the prevailing circumstances, the country was not in a position to suffer loss due to confrontation among the democratic forces.
She said that the people were facing food crisis and lawlessness, while the rulers were only shuffling to save their seat. "Due to ill-conceived policies of the rulers the people are deprived of daily use items including sugar and closure of CNG stations will add to their problems," she said. The federal government after creating sugar crisis should not remain silent and tackle the sugar mafia with iron hand. "Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif would not allow sugar mafia to exploit the masses.
