Pakistan Chest Society (PCS) NWFP Chapter would hold a press conference on November 16 regarding the "World Chronic Obstructer Air Way Disease" and International Conference on Lung Diseases and TB. The President and General Secretary will address the media and highlight the importance of COPD and public awareness, its causes, treatment and prevention.
They will also talk about the chest conference regarding lung disease and tuberculosis arranged by the chest society in March 2010 for which a large number of chest and TB specialists have been invited for participation and presenting their papers in the scientific session of the conference.
The PCS has arranged one-day symposium at LRH Auditorium regarding COPD on November 18 where Chest specialists will deliver their lectures on chronic obstruction pulmonary disease and doctors. Trainee Medical Officer from Teaching Hospitals will participate in the symposium.
