Security tightened in federal capital

Stringent security measures have been taken in Federal Capital in the wake of the increasing spate of terrorism and suicide attacks in different areas of NWFP particularly Peshawar. At all the entry and exit points of the capital, law enforcement agencies personnel are carrying out strict physical search and bearded men are being especially focused.
Some times, the physical checking at the points led to traffic mess on the roads. Apart from the physical checking, public places, bus stands and Katchi Abadies are being strictly monitored. Additional contingents of Islamabad Police and other law enforcement agencies were deployed on roads and streets of the capital.
