The government of Sindh under Section 144 of CrPC has imposed ban upon holding of marriage functions beyond 12 midnight across Sindh province. The violation of this order will attract panel action under Section 188 CrPC upon owners of premises, eg marriage halls, lawns, hotels and other places where such functions are held.
All SHOs are directed to take strict action against violators falling within their jurisdiction. This order shall be enforced with effect from November 17, 2009.-PR
