More than 16 million children of 5 years of age would be administered polio drops during three-day National Immunisation Campaign starting from today (Monday). The Health Department Punjab has constituted 38000 vaccination teams for this purpose.
Giving details of the anti-Polio campaign Director General Health Punjab, Dr Mohammad Asalm Chaudhry said that the Anti-Polio Campaign would continue till complete eradication of the disease. He said that the health department Punjab has constituted 32,000 mobile teams for door to door visits, while 4,000 static teams would be available in all the hospitals, RHCs and BHUs to administer polio drops.
