Asian physical rubber prices rose on Monday, reflecting gains in the Tokyo futures market. A trader based in Thailand said it was not clear whether Chinese buyers would be in the market given the high prices. Last week, Chinese users bought Indonesia's SIR20 and Malaysia's SMR20, but the amount of their purchases was limited due to high price levels.
