Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has issued notices and warned various federal and provincial departments and organisations of "disconnection" if they failed to clear their dues amounting to Rs 77.4 million. A spokesman of FESCO said here on Wednesday that Rs 5.9 million are pending against various federal departments and its affiliated autonomous bodies.
Among these include remount veterinary (Rs 66,000), FIA (Rs 82,000), Interior Ministry (Rs 19,000), Finance Ministry (51,000), National Savings (Rs 76,000), Income Tax (Rs 0.5 million), Dry Port (Rs 0.777 million), Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (Rs 1.2 million), Military Dairy Farm (Rs 39000), Air Port Security Force (Rs 25,000), Irsa (Rs 0.125 million), NBP (Rs 02 million), NHA (Rs 588 million), NTC (Rs 0.1 million), PTCL (Rs 0.6 million), Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (Rs 25,000), University of Agriculture (Rs 72,000), Textile College (Rs 49,000), Chief Engineer Scarp (Rs 0.125 million),Chief Engineer Chasma Canal (Rs 43,000) and Nadra (Rs 47,000).
Similarly, defaulting provincial departments are Finance Department (Rs 60,000), Punjab Police (Rs 6.3 million), Punjab Prison (Rs 4 million), Punjab Scarp (Rs 5.7 million), Punjab Forestry and Livestock (Rs 0.35 million), Fisheries Department (Rs 89,000), Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Rs 0.1 million), Punjab Housing & Physical Engineering Department (Rs 83,000), Punjab Population (Rs 50,000), Punjab Health & Welfare Department (Rs 01 million), Teveta (Rs 65,000), FDA (Rs 32,000), Wasa (Rs 0.9 million), Cantonment Board Rs 0.1 million), District Government Rs 17 million) and TMAs (Rs 30.5 million).
