President, Asif Ali Zardari wants to surrender the powers of 58(2) B to Parliament before March. Minister of Ports and Shipping, Nabeel Gabol while talking to a private TV channel said "Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has never said he doesn't need powers of 58(2) B rather he said there is no need to give advice to dissolve the Parliament and Services Chiefs have already been appointed."
He said "President, Asif Ali Zardari himself stated that he wanted to surrender the powers of 58(2) B to parliament before March." He added "all the members of PPP's CEC meeting assured President, Asif Ali Zardari that party is behind the Co-Chairman." "President and Prime Minister both belong to PPP and there is no threat to them, threats come when men like Leghari, Ghulam Ishaq Khan or Musharraf sit in Presidency" he further added.
