Jamat-e-Islami calls for APC on Balochistan Package

Central Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hassan has urged the government to arrange All Parties Conference (APC) on Balochistan Package.
Addressing a party gathering in Dera Allahyar here on Sunday, he said the federation should play a significant role to ensure removing sense of deprivation amongst people of Balochistan and provision of due rights to them. He urged that immediate steps should be taken to resolve problems being faced by the people of Balochistan.
Refuting presence of Taliban in Balochistan, he termed it propaganda of western media to protect interests of the US in the region. He viewed that peace could not be maintained in the region if the US interference in Pak-Afghan matters continued. He warned that drone attacks on Quetta would be a blunder by the US government. He noted that measures should be taken to halt terrorism incidents in the country.
