A meeting of the heads of Parliamentary parties in the Senate and National Assembly was held on Tuesday ahead of the joint sitting of both the Houses to discuss matters relating to in House business during the joint session. The meeting presided over by Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza decided that the session will be prorogued after presentation of the "Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan" Package.
It was also decided that the package will be discussed in the Senate and the National Assembly that will be convened as per schedule. The meeting was attended by Dr Zaheeruddin Babar Awan, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Minister for Labour and Manpower, Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources and Privatisation, Senators: Mian Raza Rabbani, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Professor Khurshid Ahmed, Abdur Rahim Khan Mandokhel and Dr Abdul Malik and MNAs: Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Maulana Muhammad Qasim, Eng Shaukatullah, Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan and Adeel Khan.
